About Matan Pinto

Founder of UFLIP

Fifteen years ago, I started a professional hair care company in New York called YUDIVA. What began as a passion for beauty quickly became a journey into the science of hair, working closely with salons, stylists, and thousands of women who trusted our products every day.

Over the years, I learned something that kept bothering me.

The beauty industry was constantly trying to do more and more with a single bottle. Every new shampoo promised to cleanse, nourish, repair, hydrate, strengthen, smooth, protect color, and add shine—all at the same time. Yet despite decades of innovation, many women were still searching for better results.

As I worked with professional formulations and listened to customers, I began to see a fundamental contradiction hiding in plain sight.

The ingredients responsible for cleansing hair and scalp perform a very different job than the ingredients designed to nourish, protect, and strengthen hair. One removes. The other replenishes. One clears the path. The other delivers benefits. Yet the industry had accepted the idea that both should live together inside the same bottle.

I started asking a simple question:

“What if the problem wasn’t the ingredients? What if the problem was forcing them to work together?”

That question led to years of thinking, testing, refining, and challenging conventional assumptions.

The result is UFLIP.

A completely different approach to shampoo—one that separates cleansing and nourishing into two dedicated formulas housed in a single patented bottle. Instead of compromise, each formula is given the opportunity to do what it does best. The Cleanser prepares the hair. The Nurturer delivers what the hair needs. Together, they create a system working in true synergy.

UFLIP wasn’t created in a laboratory by people looking for the next marketing trend.

It was created from fifteen years of listening to real women, understanding their frustrations, learning from professional hair care, and refusing to accept that “the way it’s always been done” is necessarily the best way.

Born from New York’s demanding beauty culture and inspired by the women who expect more from their products, UFLIP represents a simple belief:

Sometimes the biggest breakthroughs don’t come from adding more. They come from thinking differently.

And sometimes, the future of hair care is as simple as flipping the bottle.
